Welder/Fabricator
Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our manufacturing team at our Fivemiletown and Armagh factory. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and finishing a variety of metal components and products to the highest standards. This role plays a key part in supporting our manufacturing operations and ensuring the production of high-quality agricultural machinery.
At Redrock Machinery, we manufacture and supply a range of livestock feeding and slurry handling equipment, silage and grain trailers, blockcutters, paddle feeders, dump trailers, low loaders, and flat trailers.
Key Responsibilities
Operate various welding techniques, including TIG welding, to assemble metal components with high precision
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication
Perform measurements and calculations to confirm dimensions and tolerances
Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Assist with the assembly of fabricated components into final products as required
Troubleshoot minor fabrication and welding issues to minimise production downtime
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in welding or fabrication within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of sheet metal work, mechanical principles, and the use of hand and power tools
Familiarity with fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Experience working with steel, aluminium, or other metals is desirable
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
