Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our manufacturing team at our Fivemiletown and Armagh factory. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and finishing a variety of metal components and products to the highest standards. This role plays a key part in supporting our manufacturing operations and ensuring the production of high-quality agricultural machinery.

At Redrock Machinery, we manufacture and supply a range of livestock feeding and slurry handling equipment, silage and grain trailers, blockcutters, paddle feeders, dump trailers, low loaders, and flat trailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various welding techniques, including TIG welding, to assemble metal components with high precision

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication

  • Perform measurements and calculations to confirm dimensions and tolerances

  • Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

  • Assist with the assembly of fabricated components into final products as required

  • Troubleshoot minor fabrication and welding issues to minimise production downtime

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in welding or fabrication within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal work, mechanical principles, and the use of hand and power tools

  • Familiarity with fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components

  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

  • Experience working with steel, aluminium, or other metals is desirable

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
