General Operative

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and reliable General Operatives to join our manufacturing team at our Armagh factory. The successful candidates will support the production process through a variety of manufacturing, assembly, and housekeeping duties, helping to ensure the efficient production of high-quality agricultural machinery.

At Redrock Machinery, we manufacture and supply a range of livestock feeding and slurry handling equipment, silage and grain trailers, blockcutters, paddle feeders, dump trailers, low loaders, and flat trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and manufacture of agricultural machinery and components

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

• Prepare materials and components for production

• Support fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly departments as required

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the factory and yard

• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Follow company Quality and Health & Safety procedures at all times

• Assist with general factory and yard duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or agricultural environment is desirable but not essential

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Good practical skills and a willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated

• Forklift licence beneficial but not essential

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
